We value the next generation. We believe our calling as a church is to reach each new generation with the Gospel and equip them to carry out the mission of the church. Under the umbrella of our Next Generation Ministries are our preschool, children, and youth departments.
Preschool Experience Team – Assist with the automated check-in system, welcoming visitors, filling out guest cards, and directing the families to where they need to go.
Nursery (0 – 23 months) – Cuddle, feed, rock to sleep, change diapers, play games, read stories, and sing praise to the Lord.
Preschool Life Groups (Age 2 – Pre-K) – Engage in creative play, read, lead or help children develop an understanding of God and biblical truths, do simple crafts, serve snack, and have lots of fun.
Puppet Theater – Storytelling through puppetry, be a main or support character, lead praise and worship, or run lighting and/or sound system.
DU Kids (Age 2 to Pre-K) – Lead or assist in leading children on Wednesday evening. The First Look curriculum provides several activities and crafts to do each week which we will carry into Wednesday evening programming. Children will hear the same Bible story, worship song and memory verse from Sunday, but will participate in different activities which reinforce the lesson. Preschoolers will also rotate through weekly stations including: Nature Discover, Crafts, Service Project, Snack Prep and Music.
Resource Team – Lend your creative talents and energy to coordinate, reproduce, and gather materials for classroom use.
