We count the people because people count! Record keeping is vital for effective outreach and ministry. Record keeping is more than counting heads, it is important to have accurate records for the church.

DU Teacher
A Biblical Teacher is one who studies, models and communicates God’s Word in order to inspire and enable other to understand the Word, successfully walk with their Lord and Savior and move into ministry themselves. The Teacher is one who leads, teaches the Gospel and presents and image of the Christian life. This is to be held in holy fear with the understanding that this is a calling by God. It is these truths that are to guide the Teacher’s actions motivations.

Community Group Leader
A great way to get involved at The Heights Baptist Church is to connect to a group. Community Groups are designed to give you an opportunity to make new friends and enjoy things that you currently love doing. A Community Group Leader is one who facilitates the group, encourages those attending and seeks to connect those attending to The Heights Baptist for worship and connect everyone to a Life Group.

Community Group Coach
Community Groups are designed to give someone an opportunity to make new friends and enjoy things they already love doing while connecting them to The Heights. There are many Community Groups currently at The Heights, and they are launched twice a year. The role of a Community Group Coach is to reach out to Community Group Leaders, see how their group is going and encourage them throughout the term.
