Starting Point Class

By now, most of you have heard of Starting Point. It was introduced to our church about 18 months ago, so it is a long time to still be promoting a class that over 500 people have already taken to date. Within those 500 people are some folks that were visiting for the first time and jumped in on a Sunday morning. Some people had been visiting for weeks or even months and wanted to learn more about our church and wanted to know the “what’s, why’s and how’s” the Heights does what it does on Sunday morning and week in and week out. However, a majority of people that have taken Starting Point have been members here at the Heights for months, years and even decades. In many cases they have said that it was nice to be reminded of what we are doing and how all of the ministries and promotions are connected and are in line with our mission, vision and core values. We ask some of our long term members to give us their feedback after taking Starting Point. The overwhelming majority say that they learned something new, it was well worth their time, and it reaffirms their love for our church and the ministries that they are a part of. Across the board they are saying that they are glad they took Starting Point and will be encouraging others to do the same. We offer Starting point in one 3-hour class on Sunday afternoon April 16th.
