The Heights Men’s Softball Why do we do what we do?? The purpose of our softball ministry is to bring men together in fellowship and good competition. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just beginning, we will find a spot for you. Our purpose on the field is to play with integrity while representing Christ as well as our church family. This is as much of an outreach as it is an in-reach. Depending which league we play in, we will either play Friday, Sunday or Tuesday nights. We could be playing at Lakeview Elementary School or Ironbridge Park. We play 2 games on a given night, early games start at 6:30pm and late games start around 8:30. Along with playing with and against other believers or nonbelievers, we will love on and show everyone grace! We also use this as a way to recruit guys to play softball in the prison. We partner with Impact Sports Ministry, who use sports as an avenue to share the love of Christ in hard to reach areas.
