On the first Sunday of every October, people around the world join together to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Rooted in Psalm 122:6 — “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem” — this observance calls Christians to stand in prayer, solidarity, and support for the peace, protection, and spiritual well-being of Jerusalem and her people.
