Kid’s D.U. offers an exciting weekly experience throughout the school year that is broken down into 6-8-week sessions. Each Wednesday opens in a large group setting led by our Children’s Pastor. During large group children will learn about prayer, engage with our monthly memory verse and reexamine the Bible stories covered on Sunday.
After large group the children will participate in breakouts that are either bible studies or different activities. Each breakout is specifically designed to engage and connect children to a God-sized life and love as they learn about Jesus while having fun. The studies and activities are broken into the following ages groups: Kindergarten, 1st through 3rd, and 4th and 5th. And mom and dad, from time-to-time there will be opportunities for you to take a study with your child. Each breakout requires a parent to register their child, and each lasts 6-8 weeks. This means more opportunity to engage in different topics and activities for the children.
DU Kids for Kindergartners is specifically designed to engage the active minds of these young elementary-aged children. Each session will have new and exciting activities and Bible stories that will captivate the children. They will get to do things like soccer, arts and crafts, Superbook from Right Now Media, stories about Jesus and more.Register for Kindergarten DU

Kids Who Play a Part One of our values at The Heights is that Everyone Plays a Part, and one of the ways we measure our spiritual growth is by asking the question “Where are you serving?” Kids Who Play a Part is a course that is all about helping your child see value and find joy in serving within the church. Each week the children will engage in variety of projects—that will likely include some manual work—with the goal of blessing other people and ministries within our church. *children are encouraged to not wear “church clothes” for this class as they could get dirty.
Answers for Kids: Part II Case for a Creator for Kids dives into some of the questions both children—and their parents—ask about creation. This study from author Lee Strobel tackles some of the biggest questions with kid-friendly language with research that will help strengthen your child’s faith in God’s creation. *attending the previous “Answers” class is not necessary for this class.
Colossians (Linked Class) What we think about Jesus matters. Our perception of Him shapes us—what we say, how we treat others, even what we think. If we paint Jesus as any less than who He is as supreme over all creation and savior of the world, not only does our theology slip, but the working out of our faith also suffers. In this video driven series, Louie Giglio and our leaders will take your child through the book of Colossians to help them form a complete picture of Jesus. *linked courses are those in which the same topic or book is being covered for children, youth and adultsRegister for 4th-5th Grade DU
